Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and older Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos. She also loves operas as well as any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16, under the direction by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. After moving from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with the traditional Latin American music at private events. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
