Mischa barton was born the 24th of January, 1986 in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. The film The Sixth Sense a film of suspense in which she played a role. The O.C. which she appeared in was a popular TV show. Alongside her role, she starred in The cult TV show The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie played her love-interest. Benjamin McKenzie played her romantic interest. Barton was first seen on TV in 1993 playing Corvina Lan in flashbacks to The All My Children soap opera. Then, in the year 1996 she replaced Michelle Trachtenberg's role as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes in the TV series Once and Again, as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) love interest. In 2001, she returned to acting, and was a part of an independent Canadian film, titled Lost and Delirious. It was based on the Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. Barton was highly praised for her performance, as in addition to that of Piper Perabo. Julie Johnson, a 2001 film with Lili Taylor as well as Courtney Love in which she as the lesbian child of an adulterous woman. Barton has also appeared in a support role with Brad Renfro (2001) and Dominique Swain in the independent teenage drama Tart. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. She returned home to Romania and was greeted with a warm welcome by the Romanian government. Comaneci's Olympic medal haul was increased to nine awards following four years of participation in the Olympics of 1980. Comaneci joined the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and ABC News named her one of the top female athletes of the 20th Century in 1999. Comaneci is known as an American Olympic Champion Bart Conner married her in April of 1996. They had a child, Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy and other business related to gymnastics are managed by the Conners. Comaneci is also involved with a range of charitable organizations serving on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. In the years since, she continues to be a supporter of dozens more charities within her native Romania. These include her involvement with the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
